| Physical Therapist | PT 26-27 | Job Description: - Pediatric & developmental knowledge and expertise
- Strong understanding of gross motor development from early childhood through early adulthood
- Educational Regulations: Familiarity with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
- (IDEA), Section 504 compliance, and the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process.
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment, wheelchairs, orthotics, and environmental modifications to support student independence in the school setting
- Ability to pivot techniques seamlessly based on the student's age, needs, and abilities
- Strong communication skills to partner effectively with parents, teachers, other related service providers, and special education teams and administration.
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and position students of varying sizes and weights, as well as maneuver heavy adaptive equipment
- Providing specialized therapy to address goals as per the student's Individual Education Plan/504 Plan; monitoring and reporting student progress
- Ability to assess student needs, progress, and evaluate for initial and re-evaluations through the CSE process
