Special Education Teacher

Job Description:

• Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; follows state-mandated due process procedures and functions as IEP Case Manager to assigned students.

Salary:

• $165.00 per day

Job Qualifications

Certifications Required:

• New York State Certification for Teaching Students with Disabilities in grades Birth-2nd, 1st-6th, or K-12

  • Will give consideration to teacher candidates enrolled in teacher preparation programs working toward certification.
