Job Description

The Pavilion Middle/High School is seeking one part-time PE teacher to begin in the 2025-26 school year. Pavilion Central School faculty and staff work in a small, rural, family-like setting that is located less than an hour away from either Rochester or Buffalo, which makes PCS not only A Great Place to Learn, but also A Great Place to Work!

The anticipated opening is for a half-time (0.5) morning PE position. Afternoon subbing and coaching opportunities will be available.

Job Description:

• Prepare and teach physical education in accordance with NYS curriculum and standards
• Stay current in research-based instructional practices and pedagogy, NYS standards, assessment, and curriculum
• Maintain and enhance collaboration with department members
• Promote social emotional learning and restorative practices

Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary with a pro-rated benefits package

Starting Date: September 2,2025

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: NYS Certification in K-12 Physical Education, a desire and availability to coach, fingerprint clearance
